Thad Jones, "Detroit-New York Junction", Mono. Blue Note BLP 1513 - 1956 Lexington Ave. DG Ear Featuring: Thad Jones - trumpet, Billy Mitchell - tenor sax, Kenny Burrell - guitar, Tommy Flanagan - piano, Oscar Pettiford - bass, Shadow Wilson - drums.
COVER: VG- Shelf, edge wear, soiling. Moisture stain at open end. Clear tape on bottom center seam split.
RECORD: Original 1956 deep groove mono ( No "R" ) pressing of Blue Note 1513. Hand etched RVG Ear 3 1/2 " Pressing flaw (heat mark) on lead in groove, both sides. This sounds on each revolution for approx. 40 seconds on each side. Beyond lead in noise, record grades a strong , top of VG on both sides. Hairlines, light marks, sleeve marks. Play grade is mostly VG+ with very little background issue. Excellent Blue Note sound. Heavy weight disc. Nice labels. Please email with any questions. INSERT: Blue Note inner sleeve.
