While you’re saving up about £100 for high-priced ones on eBay, this superb German issue may do! Record is unmarked and my highest grade of near mint. The sleeve is near excellent – NO rips,splits or writing, has a slight spine scuff, hardly worth mentioning. LP in original German printed inner sleeve.

(In case you don’t know - The music was composed partly in "Big Pink", a house shared by bandmembers Rick Danko, Richard Manuel and Garth Hudson in West Saugerties, New York. (Bob Dylan's backing band))

Originally released at the height of the psychedelic era, on July 1 1968, Big Pink provided an antidote to the psychedelia swamping the late 1960s. The album has since attained mystique all unto itself.
