SHOGUN ASSASSIN radio spots 45 rpm vinyl 1980 record Lone Wolf & Cub manga ads
This is “Shogun Assassin Radio Spots,” a previously-owned 45 rpm record manufactured independently by New World Pictures in 1980 (catalog #CR4153). It is in good shape but does not have a sleeve. It includes two commercials:
1) Cut 1 (60 seconds)
2) Cut 2 (30 seconds)
“Shogun Assassin” is a 1980 jidaigeki film directed by Robert Houston. It was edited and compiled from the first two films in the “Lone Wolf and Cub” series, using 12 minutes of the first film, “Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance,” and most of “Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx.” Both were originally released in 1972. These, in turn, were based on the long-running 1970s manga series “Lone Wolf and Cub” created by the writer Kazuo Koike and the artist Goseki Kojima.
