Elvis Presley – Don't be cruel / Hound dog (HMV 45-POP-349, 1956)
Original UK 1st pressing on HMV of Elvis Presley's 1956 classic Don't be cruel / Hound dog, with the famous purple label and gold lettering.
Vinyl has marks and hairlines but plays through fine with a little surface noise at times, easily eclipsed by the music. It grades a really nice VG++ for Hound dog, and VG+ for Don't be cruel.
The labels have no major damage or writing, just a little dulled with age, and the 4-prong centre is intact. The labels grade VG to VG+.
It comes with an original His Master's Voice company sleeve in Fair condition (seam splits, writing minor tears), and will be sent protected in a plastic sleeve.
An original classic.
Watch out for more rock n roll, rockabilly, doowop and blues from the 50s and 60s.
