Probably a one of a kind!… I got this off some ivory I know who has been buying/selling records 40+ years… this was out of his personal collection…
It’s hard to describe without seeing the record in person but it’s basically 2 singles stuck together to make the release… you can see through the centre hole where the labels in between are still somewhat visible… so this record is heavy and thick!… probably equivalent to a modern 180g pressing… I’ve tried to show it from different angles in the photos but let me know if you need any more
The story with this ones goes… that early in the run on one set of stampers there was a fault with one side of the pressing… so whilst correcting the faulty side of the stamper a second correct single was pressed on top rather than throwing the old one out… and once sorted the now double thickness pressing were thrown out… apart from this one… how much of this is true I’ve no idea but I can’t work out how else you’d end up with something like this!
The run outs are… A side… IS 328 A-2U-1-1-X1 JA… B side… IS 328 3-1U-1-3-2
Vinyl visually graded easily VG as there are a couple of light marks… but playback is VG+… sleeve is VG as there are some creases
