**DION** "SINGS HIS GREATEST HITS" 196? ~MONO~ LP RARE Capitol Record Club Release On Laurie T-90386 NM Condition, Sounds Awesome!
THIS RELEASE CONTAINS A TOTAL OF 12 SELECTIONS. PLEASE SEE LAST FRAME OF PHOTO GALLERY FOR COMPLETE TRACK LISTING.
ALBUM COVER: NM (No Shrinkwrap). A hint of ring/shelf wear on the back side of the cover. A minor scuff on the bottom corner of the mouth side edge. No roughness along the edges. No serious dings on the corners. No cut-outs, saw-offs, punch-outs or other desecration. No seam splits or glue separation. No stickers, rips, splits, tears or other egregious negatives. Spine is very nice. Lettering is completely visible, bold and vivid. Overall, cover is superb for an early '60's model with very few issues.
INNER SLEEVE: MINT MINUS. Original plain vanilla paper inner sleeve, no label hole is in near mint or mint minus condition. Somewhat yellowed with age, but no side or bottom splits or other negatives to disclose. Not even any corner wrinkles.
VINYL: NM Cosmetically. Except for a few very light surface scratches primarily on side two, the vinyl is virtually free of any scratches or blemishes on both sides. No damage that causes any distracting noise whatsoever i.e. distortion, clicking, popping or other annoyances during playback. The vinyl is still very black and shiny. This record was played on mostly vintage equipment, but infrequently and with care and caution. Not abused or overplayed, this album is in exceptional condition overall, and It still sounds really, really nice and clean for a 60'S model that is pre-owned. Superb condition overall.
LABELS: MINT MINUS. Both labels are in excellent shape, almost perfect. Exceptionally clean, no cracks, near zero spindle wear on either side and only a few light spindle trails can be noticed on side two, if label is tilted into direct lighting. No scratches, tears, or graffiti. The labels are still bright and dynamic with no user abuse to declare.

THIS RECORD WAS GRADED AUDIBLY 'LOUD' IN MONO MODE, SO THAT ANY AND ALL NOISE POLLUTION COULD BE HEARD AND NOTED. NO HEADPHONES GRADING!
SIDE ONE
Very light noise at entro. Near zero noise between tracks and one light pop in the trail off area. Beautiful overall sound with excellent bass. Side plays through without any problems and is totally free of any distracting noise whatsoever during track play. Practically CD quality, I gave side one a grade of "A" audibly.
SIDE TWO
Almost a carbon copy of side one quality wise. Two light pops at entro and a tiny bit of noise between tracks. Near zero noise in the trail off area as well. Side two is equally as clean sounding as side one with virtually no noise noticed during track play. Side plays through beautifully, and again very close to CD quality. I gave side two an "A" audibly also. I am very strict in audible gradings.
SUMMARY: Cosmetically, this record package is overall about a 9 (a 1 is scrap). Absolutely a highly collectible pressing and very nice visually. Album sounds extremely clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed grading it. This record package is about as good as you can get for just about any vintage pre-owned record that is not sealed. The description and audible gradings are honest and as thorough as possible. This album is definitely clean enough for re-recording to another medium. A very worthwhile investment for the asking price.
NOTE: This record was originally released in 1959 as Laurie LLP-2013. Goldmine's collectibles guide describes this pressing as the Capitol Record Club release with the exact release year questionable. On the front cover is catalog number LLP-2013 and on the back cover is catalog number T-90386.

I am not a dealer, nor will I pretend to be an expert on grading records. Im just a guy that's been buying and collecting records for over 50 years. I use Goldmines price guide as a tool when either buying or selling an album or 45. My pre-listing procedure is: to clean the record (if necessary), visually inspect record and album cover for obvious imperfections, and to play each record in its entirety to check for sound quality. I try to simply give my honest opinion of the record's condition without the technical gobbledygook. I believe that grading a record can be as subjective as judging Olympic figure skating, therefore, my opinion may well differ from yours as a prospective buyer, either in a positive or in a negative way. I simply offer a full money back guarantee + shipping cost on any record that I sell, if you are not 100% satisfied with the purchase. I do not want negative feedback in the event that I overlook an egregious flaw or if my opinion of the record is beneath the buyer's expectations. If you are the end buyer and are dissatisfied in any way, please contact me immediately and return the record in the condition you received it within 10 days of the purchase date. I ship same or next business day after payment is received. All records with a purchase price of $25.00 or more will be insured (included in the shipping price). Records are shipped in custom fitted LP shipping cartons with protective plastic sleeve.
Please do not ask me to discount shipping on single item purchases. In order to get buyers their items as quickly as possible, I ship same or next business day upon confirmation of receipt of payment. I live out in the sticks. It is 17 miles round trip to the nearest mailing center and my old truck gets crummy mileage, so I must consider fuel when calculating shipping costs. Multiple items purchases will be bundled and a discounted shipping fee negotiated, based on type(s) of items purchased. Thanks for your consideration.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: Import duties, taxes and charges are NOT INCLUDED in this item's price or shipping charges. Also, law prohibits devaluing the actual purchase price, and/or stating that this item is a "Gift".
