RARE and HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE! THE YARDBIRDS "RAVE UP" Original thick vinyl LP, 1965, EPIC Records (BN 26177)
The Yardbirds were the precursor to Led Zeppelin, but stood affirmatively on their own as a monolithic band of supremely talented musicians, including guitar royals, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page.
This album features who many believe to be a guitar player's guitarist, Jeff Beck, whose resonant chords blanket the deep guttural vocals of Keith Relf, forming suitable wrappings on classic songs such as "Heart Full Of Soul," "The Train Kept A-Rollin'," "Smokestack Lighting" among other gems.
There is no one who compares to Robert Plant, but it is interesting to note that the only thing that stood between Keith Relf and his intended role as the lead vocalist of Led Zeppelin was his one lung.
VERY GOOD++ Vinyl!!! Just some minor, insignificant surface marks. EXCELLENT Cover!!!
