Goblin - Suspiria -CULT HORROR OST-NEW LP
Goblin-Suspiria-70s ITALIAN HORROR THRILLER OST
Catalogue Number
AMSLP11
Limited Edition 180gram Vinyl LP reissue of Goblin's classic music from the 1976 Dario Argento movie.
The original Suspiria vinyl record album featured two sleeves. When removed from the outer sleeve, the inner sleeve unfolded to reveal a pop-up of Dario Argento's initials, decorated with the demonic Goblin logo and the dead ballerina poster art from SUSPIRIA. The inner sleeve featured a black-and-white photo of Argento working with Goblin in the recording studio, plus several color photos from the film, including behind the scenes images of Argento on set.
This reissue features the same pop-up system, although inverted: this time the outer sleeve will reveal its astounding secret as it was intended in the original project! So this one is even better than the original.
Of course the LP is the usual AMS heavy 180g high quality audiophile vinyl!

Haunting stuff! This is one of the wildest 70s soundtracks by the Italian horror genius group Goblin -- and the score's filled with a lot of weird distorted electronics, strangely recorded percussion, and oddly tuned guitar and bass parts.
The overall feel still has the band's electric slightly funky sound firmly in place, but the presence of strange techniques makes the soundtrack one of their most interesting records!
Tracks include "Suspiria", "Witch", "Black Forest", "Blind Concert", Death Valzer", "Markos", and "Opening To The Sighs".
