Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Blink-182. Originally release in June 2001, the album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 350,000 copies. The record was initially released in three separate configurations: the ''red plane'', the ''yellow pants'', and the ''green jacket'' editions. Each release contained two separate bonus tracks, ranging from joke tracks to unreleased cuts. The multiple bonus-track versions were only available for a limited time before the album reverted to a regular, standard edition without any bonus tracks. This is the first time all three configurations and six bonus tracks are available at once.

Packaging includes the original Take Off Your Pants and Jacket tracks on a single 180 Gram WHITE LP and a Plane 7'', Pants 7'' and Jacket 7'' (7'' are on black vinyl). All four pieces are housed in a triple panel gatefold with a custom 7'' slit on each panel for the 7''.

Blink-182 is an American rock band consisting of bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, and drummer Travis Barker. They have sold over 35 million albums worldwide since forming in Poway, California in 1992. With original drummer Scott Raynor they released their debut album Cheshire Cat in 1994 and achieved moderate success with its follow-up, 1997's Dude Ranch, which went on to sell over one million copies. Raynor was replaced by Barker midway through a 1998 tour.

The band achieved greater success with 1999's multi-platinum selling Enema of the State, which reached number 9 on the Billboard 200 on the strength of the singles "What's My Age Again?" and "All the Small Things", the latter of which became the highest-charting song of their career by reaching number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. Blink-182 gained popularity for their irreverent sense of humor, and the follow-up album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001) reached number 1 in the United States, Canada, and Germany. Take Off Your Pants and Jacket has sold over 14 million copies worldwide.

The record was primarily recorded over four months at San Diego's Signature Sound. During recording sessions, MCA executives pressured the band to retain the sound that helped their previous effort sell millions. As such, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket continues the pop punk sound the group honed and made famous, albeit with a heavier tone inspired by groups such as Fugazi and Refused. Regarding lyrics, the album has been referred to as a concept album chronicling adolescence, with songs dedicated to first dates, fighting authority and teenage parties. The album produced three hit singles—"The Rock Show", "First Date", and "Stay Together for the Kids"—that were top ten hits on the modern rock charts.

How long before my order ships?
Orders usually ship within 2-7 business days. Please understand that it is impossible to keep all 100,000+ items (and multiple copies of those items) in stock at all times. Sometimes an order gets caught while re-supplying. Once an order is in the hands of the USPS, it can take another 2-14 days.


Why hasn't my item been shipped yet?
Please be patient. It is somewhere in our delivery path. Sometimes our emails get screened out. The bottom line is that 90% of all orders arrive within 10 days and 99% arrive within 3 weeks.
