It was rock 'n' roll hallowed ground.    Directed by Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) and featuring interviews and performances by the iconic musicians who made their careers in the studio, Sound City tells the story of real rock n’ roll history, and celebrates the human element of music, as Grohl gathers some of rock’s greatest artists to collaborate on a new album. Using Sound City’s legendary analog console, together they continue to create musical miracles in a digital world.    The film was conceived by Grohl after purchasing the legendary custom-built Neve 8028 recording console from Sound City Studios last year. The board, built in 1972, is considered by many to be the crown jewel of analog recording equipment, having recorded countless musical legends over the past 40 years. Sound City is slated to premiere at Sundance 2013 in January, followed by a February 1 theatrical release, in association with Variance Films.    On March 12, 2013, Sound City: Real To Reel, the companion album to the documentary is due out on Roswell Records, in conjunction with the film’s DVD and Blu-Ray releases. Unfortunately, we can't accomodate local pickups as we are an internet-based store only.


How long before my order ships?
Orders usually ship within 2-7 business days. Please understand that it is impossible to keep all 100,000+ items (and multiple copies of those items) in stock at all times. Sometimes an order gets caught while re-supplying. Once an order is in the hands of the USPS, it can take another 2-14 days.


Why hasn't my item been shipped yet?
Please be patient. It is somewhere in our delivery path. Sometimes our emails get screened out. The bottom line is that 90% of all orders arrive within 10 days and 99% arrive within 3 weeks.


Will I be able to track my shipment?
Yes, tracking is included with all shipments.

Check your shipping confirmation e-mail to make sure the items weren't sent in multiple shipments. If they weren't, contact us and we we'll take care of it.


What if one of my items is not available (out of print/stock)?
Record companies take LP's cd's, and dvd's in and out of circulation all the time, without notice, to generate future demand. We have no control over this and it affects all media sellers.
