JIMI HENDRIX -MINT UK TRACK Original "Electric Ladyland" 2 LP - PERFECT AUDIO !! SEE OUR OTHER MINT ARCHIVE 60'S LP'S & MEMORABILIA From an amazing collection of UK first pressings in unplayed or mint condition, we're happy to offer…

A NEAR MINT/MINT UK Stereo Track pressing of The Jimi Hendrix Experience's 2 LP masterpiece, ELECTRIC LADYLAND (Track 613 008).

We haven't seen a copy this clean in probably 20 years. This copy has the second label variation, with "Two Record Set" printed on the labels (oddly enough, probably more scarce than the earlier version without this.) Prior to the advent of Popsike, any black label Track "Electric Ladyland" was considered a first pressing and we consider this simply a slightly later variant. This has the original white writing inside (the blue text versions, despite the hype, are nothing more than a printing error--see below.)

Both discs here are in stunning condition; Disc 1 is MINT and looks like it did the day it left the pressing plant. Disc 2 is MINT on one side and MINT to NEAR MINT on the other--there is a very very very faint and inaudible scuff probably from the disc coming off the press, and some tiny and very faint sleeve scuffs-- but you have to look very carefully to even see these, and they are absolutely inaudible. This is the kind of thing you see on many brand new LP's, but we mention every issue, no matter how minor. ) . The discs have probably been played no more than 3 or 4 times, and extremely carefully at that.  We have play graded the album and is sounds absolutely perfect--MINT AUDIO as they say. There are two or three spindle trails on the disc 1 labels, and a single one on the side C labels. The labels are all beautiful with no sign of any wear other than these spindle trails.

This has the original side coupling of Side A/D and Side B/C. The Side A/Side D disc has stamper numbers A/1 and B/2; the Side B/Side C disc stampers are A/2 and B/2. Again, the playing surface of each of the four sides is just beautiful, with no wear or sign of play. And such great music.

Unfortunately Ebay no longer permits us to picture the nude gatefold cover, though it's considered one of the greatest album covers ever designed--and we agree. But this copy is just beautiful, with square corners and the faintest of lamination scuffing--overall a strong Near Mint. As you can see, the type on this copy is white--but as detailed below, the "blue type" variant is nothing more than unscrupulous or misinformed sellers hyping a printing error. At the bottom of the gatefold inside is the number 2657 001, which appears below the "Two Record Set" citation on the label (though the catalog number is, as on all Track pressings, 613 008.) A beautiful copy of an essential album that you'll never need to upgrade. For those obsessives like ourselves, we have written an essay about why the White Type is the original variation, and the much hyped Blue Type "first printing" is nothing more than a printing error--you can read it here ( http://recordmecca.com/news/jimi-hendrixs-electric-ladyland-exposing-the-blue-type-hype/ )

As nice a copy as you could ever expect to find.

We grade all records visually, cover first, then disc; using the abbreviations M / NM / EX / VG with + and -. We try to describe everything as accurately as possible, and spot check any vinyl flaw that looks like it might make a sound. We regularly receive praise for our grading, but as all grading is subjective, we are happy to give a full refund for anything you aren’t happy with—no questions asked.

Unlike some eBay sellers, we don't feel the need to hype records by including long reviews or albums, quoting lyrics, making up arcane variations. We just grade accurately, describe every flaw, no matter how minimal, and sell only high quality rare records in fine condition.

We welcome International buyers and ship around the world every week.

US & Canada Shipping: $9 for 1-2 LP's by insured Priority Mail (Ebay’s recent rule change requires us to offer Media Mail shipping for records, at $4.00 for 1 LP. As this is a very slow method of shipping and uninsured, we cannot guarantee safe delivery by this method and strongly recommend paying extra for the much quicker and safer Priority Mail.) $15 for 1-2 posters, shipped priority mail in a new mailer/tube & US orders are automatically insured for up to $200 in value. Calif. buyers add 8.75% sales tax (calculated automatically by Paypal.) All other items shipped at cost.

International Shipping: $16 for 1 LP airmail without insurance. $4 for each additional LP; $21 for 1-2 posters. All other items shipped at cost. Because of problems with the Italian Post Office, we highly recommend either insured or registered mail for all Italian orders and cannot be responsible for any order shipped to Italy without one or the other of these.  _gsrx_vers_586 (GS 6.8 (586))
