Up for auction is a very clean copy of the Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble album "Live Alive" released on Epic Records (E2 40511) in 1986. This is a guaranteed original pressing, not a reissue or import. Original gatefold cover with 2 LPs. "1C" and "1D" stampers in the run-out groove, indicating that this record is an early first pressing.
Cover is in great shape. Front is nice and clean, corners are sharp, not bumped. Does have a small amount or ring wear at top middle (see photo), but doesn't really detract from overall attractiveness of cover. Back cover is clean, no ring wear or losses. Seams are strong, intact, no splits or cracking. Spine is not creased. Inside gatefold is clean. I'd grade this cover EX++ (Excellent Plus).
The vinyl appears to be in great shape. Retains its original high gloss shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, though there appears to be a very faint hairline on one side from taking the vinyl out of the paper inner sleeve, but it will not affect the quality of the play back in any way. Labels are bright and clean, no marks around spindle holes. Very few signs or previous handling and play. I'd grade this vinyl as Near Mint Minus (NM-).
