OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.
We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 first pressing by cool garage beatrocker band THE CANARIES ... these guys were known as the "Idiots" before the B.T. Puppy Records label convinced them to change their name, and then just after the album was released the label promptly folded as soon as a small production run of the album was (barely) issued ... and that, like fellow label mates Bow Street Runners (monster psych Lp) is why you never see the album, because it was barely released at all...
Spotted only a couple copies in recent years = with a three figure $$$ 4-stars rarity value....
The CANARIES were actually a English speaking rocker band from Spain that happened to wind up on "the Tokens" and "Bow Street Runners" B.T. Puppy label. Too bad for them, because by the time this album was released, the Tokens were operating B.T. Puppy like a tax scam label. Given a decent release and promotion, this album might have been successful. Lots of cool Garage Beat tracks on this one. Whew ... even if you pull the disc out of the sleeve, a shiver runs up and down your arms. Spanish beat-rock from the late sixties years. Whoa ... a never see rarity?! After the cool beat-rockin' first song ("Baby Do not Surprise Me") It becomes more relaxed in a shakin' jangle way.English vocals with a Spanish accent. Pleasant polyphony - also fine. So this second track begins with the typical Spanish flavored guitar accents. When the boys begin to sing, the world is right again. The song can be described as an exotic piece - really beat. The band also sings a little Spanish, you find this in "Little Snowball" ... Even the pretty "Mama's Crying"sets off a nice varied style when merging with the drum rattle shake of "Feel All Upset" another of the albums fine grooves. But still even better is the completely gone keyboard led -heavy- called "Thursday" featuring wild stereo experiments towards the end of song that delivers speaker to speaker panning effects.
