*THE PIPKINS Gimme Dat Ding* 1970 "Stereo" Release On Capitol ST-483 NM Condition!

THIS RELEASE CONTAINS THE TITLE TRACK PLUS 9 OTHER SELECTIONS.  SEE LAST FRAME OF PHOTO GALLERY FOR COMPLETE TRACK LISTING.

ALBUM COVER:  NM (Full Shrinkwrap).  Cover is immaculate for a 70' model.  A very minor ding on both corners of the mouth edge.  A very tiny tear in the shrink near the bottom center edge, front of cover.  No other rips, splits or tears in the shrink.  Colors and hues are still bold and vivid, no seam splits or graffiti.  Cover is structurally solid, sturdy, and overall, in superb condition.

INNER SLEEVE:  NM.  Plain vanilla paper inner sleeve (no label hole), is in excellent shape overall with no side or bottom splits.  No glue separation, wrinkles or creases on the corners.  No noticeable yellowing with age.  Excellent overall.

VINYL:  NM Cosmetically.  Both sides are scratch free.  Virtually no noise during playback.  Nice luster visible on both sides.  This record was played on more modern equipment only a couple of times, and was purchased mainly as a novelty collectors' record.  It sounds excellent.  The vinyl is a beauty, no negatives to declare.

LABELS:  NM.  Both labels are in perfect shape.  No wear around the spindle hole on either side and no spindle trails visible either.  No scratches, tears or graffiti.  Colors are still very bold.  Near mint.

Please examine all photos carefully prior to bidding.  Most, if not all the flaws noted in this description may be viewed more closely in the photo gallery.  May I stress, don't like it?  Not as nice as you'd hoped or expected?  Just let me know.  Buyer satisfaction always guaranteed and returns always accepted.  Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

THIS RECORD WAS GRADED AUDIBLY 'LOUD' IN STEREO MODE, SO THAT ANY AND ALL NOISE POLLUTION COULD BE HEARD AND NOTED.  NO HEADPHONES GRADING!

SIDE ONE

Near zero noise at intro.  Excellent clean, crisp overall sound in all areas.  Near zero noise between tracks and in the trail off area.  I gave side one a grade of "A" audibly.  No distinguishable noise during track play, at intro, between tracks or the trail off area...Almost Perfect!  Sounds great throughout.

SIDE TWO

Based on the high audible quality of side one, and the identical visual grading, I did not feel it necessary to audibly grade side two.  I am very strict in audible gradings, but in this situation, I did not bother playing side two.

SUMMARY:  Cosmetically, this record is overall about a 9 1/2 (a "0" is scrap, a "10" is mint sealed), vinyl is graded about the same.  It was purchased and kept mainly as a collector item, is very pleasing to the ear with virtually zero noise.  It is certainly suitable for recording to another medium.  The description and audible gradings are honest and as thorough as possible.  This album is definitely collectible and great sound wise.  I really enjoyed grading it.  Super nice overall sound quality.  Very nice sounding rarely played record, as nice audibly as it is visually. "Its a Player!" & "A Keeper".

Thanks for having a look!

Questions regarding this record will be answered honestly and as promptly as possible.

I am not a dealer, nor will I pretend to be an expert on grading records. I'm just a guy that's been buying and collecting records for over 50 years. I use Goldmines price guide as a tool when either buying or selling an album or 45. My listing procedure is: to clean the record (if necessary), visually inspect record and album cover for obvious imperfections, and to play each record in its entirety to check for sound quality. I try to simply give my honest opinion of the record's condition without the technical gobbledygook. I believe that grading a record can be as subjective as judging Olympic figure skating, therefore, my opinion may well differ from yours as a prospective buyer, either in a positive or in a negative way. I simply offer a full money back guarantee + shipping cost on any record that I sell, if you are not 100% satisfied with the purchase. I do not want negative feedback in the event that I overlook an egregious flaw or if my opinion of the record is beneath the buyer's expectations. If you are the end buyer and are dissatisfied in any way, please contact me immediately and return the record in the condition you received it within 14 days of the purchase date. I ship same or next business day after payment is received. All records with a purchase price of $25.00 or more will be insured (included in the shipping price).  Records are shipped in custom fitted LP shipping cartons with protective plastic covering.

Please do not ask me to discount shipping on single item purchases. In order to get buyers their items as quickly as possible, I ship same or next business day upon confirmation of receipt of payment. I live out in the sticks. It is 17 miles round trip to the nearest mailing center and my old truck gets crummy mileage, so I must consider fuel when calculating shipping costs. Multiple items purchases will be bundled and a discounted shipping fee negotiated, based on type(s) of items purchased. Thanks for your consideration.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: Import duties, taxes and charges are NOT INCLUDED in this item's price or shipping charges. Also, law prohibits devaluing the actual purchase price, and/or stating that this item is a "Gift".

If you are buying "THE PIPKINS", thanks, I appreciate it!!
