Thelonious Monk Plays Duke Ellington LP - Riverside 2nd Issue One of the oldest records I've had for a while. How old is it? Well it doesn't need to state that it's mono because stereo barely existed. It's got one of those run out grooves designed to trip the auto-off function of crude turntables. It's been professionally cleaned and I was confident enough in the condition to grade it with my Dynavector 17D3 cartridge. It still sounds extraordinary. Sure, there's some surface noise here and there but it's not intrusive - it's not mint but it's a great playing copy. VG+.

The sleeve is almost 60 years old. It's EX- in my book.
