 Up for auction is a very clean copy of the rare Original Soundtrack Recording of "This Is Spinal Tap" originally released in the U.S. on Polydor Records (422-817  846-1  Y-1) in 1984.  This is a guaranteed original U.S. first pressing, not a cheap reissue or import, like most for sale on eBay.  Includes original gatefold cover and original factory inner sleeve with lyrics and liner notes.

Cover is in very nice condition, famous all black cover, generally clean looking.  No ring wear.  Couple light creases along spine, some light rubbing to corners.  Seams are strong, no splits, though there are a few rub spots on bottom edge.  Back is also clean, only a very light hint of ring wear, but not enough to rub through the black.  Couple light creases along spine.  Overall, a very nice example.  Interior of gatefold is clean.  Grade the cover Excellent Plus (EX+).

Vinyl is in beautiful condition, still very shiny and clean.  No obvious scratches, scuffs or extraneous marks.  Labels are clean.  Shows very few signs of previous handling or play.  Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).
