Loud (!) Fast (!) Rules (!). Like dynamite. Here is it, one of the best punk singles worldwide. In my humble opinion the song ‘Half Twee’ by the HELMETTES is the best European punk song ever made. Of course we all love that outstanding European singles from the SEX PISTOLS (Holidays In The Sun) O LEVEL (Pseudo Punk) KILLJOYS (Johnny Won't Get To Heaven) EPPU NORMAALI (Poliisi Pamputtaa Taas) GUILTY RAZORS (I Don't Wanna Be A Rich) KRIMINELLA GITARRER (Vardad Klädsel) and SCROTUM POLES (Radio Tay) but this HELMETTES single might be the best from the best. And what a bastard this super-loud Dutch shocker is. Only 1,000 records of this 'Made In Holland' classic were made. eBay prices: $512 + $613. Here's your chance to get the original first pressing, released on Amsterdam’s best and finest punk label ‘No Fun’ records in 1978. As you know also GOD'S HEART ATTACK and MECANO LTD kicked out their records on this cult label. If the HELMETTES were from the States then this would be the ultimate US stomper. I’m sure the price for this killer will reach the sky within the next few years. The single includes all elements of a classic. Extremely loud vocals, topped with the right F**K YOU attitude. Brilliant kick-in-your-face guitar riffs and a top production. In other words a true masterpiece. ‘I Don’t Care What The People Say’ (what a wonderful title for a punk song) appears on the A-side. But as I mentioned the real cracker is on the flip which titled ‘Half Twee’ (which means 'Half Two'). This song can be heard on the punk sampler BACK TO FRONT #1. Their only record release is a real b*tch to find and part of European punk history. The label was designed by Joost Swarte which is another reason why this record is sooo collectable. Cult ! Cult ! Cult !

All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
