PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:
Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.
OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.
Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.
We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
Thank you for your interest and support.

Original 1968 first pressing ...the second and last album by:
The HEARTS AND FLOWERS who released two scarce and highly collectible Los Angeles California rural edged electrified folk-rock records in the late 60′s in the range of the Byrds and Buffalo Springfield as well as Lewis & Clark Expedition. Both of their albums are highly rated, some think Of Horses, Kids and Forgotten Women from 1968 is their crowning achievement. Larry Murray, Dave Dawson and Rick Cunha had made up the first lineup of Hearts and Flowers, all coming from an early to mid 60′s folk mindset. In the summer of '67 they released Now Is The Time For…. to critical acclaim. By the time of their second album Bernie Leadon of Eagles, Flying Burrito Brothers, and Dillard & Clark fame had replaced Rick Cunha. Second Hand Sundown Queen, When I Was A Cowboy, Legend Of Ol’ Tenbrookes and the beautiful Extra Extra medley are classy, early rural folk rock songs that have definitely stood the test of time well. The sound here is very close to the quieter moments on Buffalo Springfield’s "Last Time Around" or even the Beau Brummels on their fabulous "Triangle" album. "Ode To A Tin Angel" is the album’s undisputed classic. Tin Angel is a multilayered psychedelic epic that never forsakes Hearts and Flowers love for Americana. Hearts and Flowers never received their due because the music they created was ahead of it’s time. Long before The Eagles and The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Hearts & Flowers were turning on the crowd down at The Troubadour in Hollywood, and they were so far ahead of their time. This little trio of rural edged-rock & rollers combined the best of the two styles into an inspirational sound and helped make bluegrass music "cool & accecptable" to the hip L.A community. Recorded at the famed Capitol Records Studio during the peak of Vietnamn, student protests, the Sunset Strip riots...the LA music fabric was changing and the music of The Hearts & Flowers reflected that change. Larry Murray, Bernie Leadon, Davis Dawnson and Rick Cunna may not have sold many records..but their genious and spirit influenced bands such as The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Burrito Brothers, etc. The Hearts And Flowers were the REAL heros of LA scene....music that really mattered. The Hearts & Flowers were the biggest kept secret in rural rock history. Interesting note: each band member give their personal thoughts on all track listings - on back cover Side 1 Now is the Time for Hearts and Flowers Highway in the Wind Second-Hand Sundown Queen She Sang Hymms Out of Tune Ode to a Tin Angel Side 2 When I Was a Cowboy Legend of Tenbrookes Colour Your Daytime Two Little Boys Extra, Extra Rock and Roll Gypsies
