Burns, aka Homer & Jethro known as the thinking man's hillbillies were popular in the 1950's-60's with their satirical renditions of popular songs. Lot contains six early 50's singles that includes several parodies of Hank Williams Sr. songs. All are flex vinyl Promotional label issues! Visually graded vinyl, all are very clean vg+ to near mint with light superficial scuffs. Labels are clean four have marker numbers on each side.. Records are hand cleaned and sleeved. Included are:

I do not skimp on packaging when shipping 78's. All records are professionally packaged and shipped in heavy duty cardboard sturdy boxes. 78's require great care and special packaging to prevent breakage. Thank you.

RECORD GRADING FOR 78's
Bargain lot items are visually graded. Individual auction records are play graded. I place emphasis on play grade, maintain the highest professional standards, do spot check play grading on all individual auction items and always provide an accurate visual grade and label appearance. I play grade on a quality system with a high end cartridge in order to maintain a strict and undisguised play grade. I always keep my grading simple and fair and will not subject my customers to a proliferation of meaningless grades. If a record plays between two grades I always apply the lesser grade, I don't create a grade in an attempt to articulate a borderline evaluation.

NEAR MINT - EXCELLENT (nm) Showing only slight wear. Playing surfaces still retain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal. No major imperfections. Grooves may have minor scuffs. A very playable and acceptable copy.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) Very clean play copy that may have scuffs, light scratches and minor surface wear with little to no audible extraneous noise. A very playable and acceptable copy.

GOOD (G) Somewhat more worn and mishandled copy with audible extraneous surface noise. Grooves may have visual scuffs and scratches and at times a slight grayness, especially appearing in the louder passages, random marks and light abrasions from sleeveless existence. Still a very playable copy, expect some extraneous noise.

POOR (P) I rarely list poor condition 78's, but at times will if it is a rare item. Poor 78's will generally have a below 50/50 ratio of surface noise over music and may have cracks, deep scratches, digs, edge chips and flake, flutter or warp factor and are sold as is. Surface noise is prominent and can be enough to impair or overwhelm music. Poor graded 78's are sold as is.

BARGAIN CLEARANCE LOT DETAILS
Because of time constraints, all bargain bulk lots are visually graded. I will spot play check certain items with visual imperfections or scratches to make sure play quality is acceptable. I always try to include quality condition records in my bargain lots ranging from vg to mostly vg+ and near mint. expect some with scuffs and scratches, at times some may have groove flutter. I do not include any beater albums in these lots. Please understand I do not detail every little inconsequential imperfection of each item, it is a general over all grade. All bargain lot auctions are "as is". This means every item is guaranteed as described, but if one of the items in the lot is defective or I may have mistakenly overlooked a serious flaw you will only receive a partial credit for that item based on the total cost, you cannot return the entire lot for a full credit. Also, I do not respond to inquiries requesting additional details on bargain bulk lots. Also, winners of bulk lots must take entire lot, you cannot choose only certain items to save on shipping, it's all or nothing, that's why they are clearance lots.
