Original 1st Press New Zealand LP released in 1970 on the Gold & White Elektra Records label. Cat: EKS75007.  

This batch of LP’s are from a very recently acquired collection of all original late 60’s early 70’s pressing LP’s. There are around 200 albums I hope to list over the coming weeks some fantastic titles amongst them most over 45 years old!! I have hand cleaned and listened to every album and graded conservatively (as per usual) to give the most accurate grading I can. I hope you enjoy browsing or bidding on the titles as much as I have listening to them all.

The Doors returned to crunching, straightforward hard rock on Morrison Hotel, an album that, despite yielding no major hit singles, returned them to critical favor with hip listeners. An increasingly bluesy flavor began to color the songwriting and arrangements, especially on the party'n'booze anthem "Roadhouse Blues." Airy mysticism was still present on "Waiting for the Sun," "Queen of the Highway," and "Indian Summer"; "Ship of Fools" and "Land Ho!" struck effective balances between the hard rock arrangements and the narrative reach of the lyrics.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some light crackles throughout, there is one light scratch that cause 4 light pops at very start of track two side two. Record is in VG+ condition. Gloss cover with back flaps has a few light marks on back and is in Excellent condition.
