This is a RARE UK 1st pressing with all the characteristics of the early 1st UK Pressings. Marketed by B&C Records both on label and sleeve, large Mad Hatter labels, with the gatefold textured sleeve with RED text on the SPINE and the PORKY PECKO etchings in the dead/wax lead-out grooves indicating that this 1st press was cut by George Peckham (aka Porky).

The vinyl is graded visually in very good towards excellent condition. Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is 44 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the condition stated.

It has the PORKY PECKO edging. Porky is a lacquer-cutting and mastering engineer and has an illustrious career that includes work on the BEATLES, GENESIS AND LED ZEPPELIN catalogue amongst others. He has well helped on the engineering aspects and done special cuts for artistes like JOHN LENNON - AC DC – WINGS – JETHRO TULL – FREE – WHO – TEN YEARS AFTER – TRAFFIC - YES or KING CRIMSON.

The Gatefold TEXTURED sleeve is in  excellent condition. It has the RED text on the spine and marketed by B&C Records and printed by the E J Day Group inside which is one of the characteristics of the UK 1st Pressings.

The spine has the RED FOXTROT text fully legible and is in excellent condition with some feathering, edge and corner wear.

The 1st Press LARGE MAD HATTER Charisma labels with the B&C Records text are in excellent condition.

Visually-graded vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and fifty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.

I am not a dealer but an amateur collector selling duplicated items or records that I no longer want to keep (mostly due to space). I do not clean records (other than a dust with anti-static) and unless indicated in the listing the records have been only visually inspected.
