"I Ain't Comen Back" b/w "Little Girl"

Wm. Locy Sound Co., acetate hole visible through label when held up to light

VG Minus, some light scuffs but a good overall acetate surface with just one small edge chip that doesn't come near the play area. Plays with some noise at the starts and trail-outs, but certainly nothing overwhelming.

Two monster organ-infused 1967 California proto-punk garage tracks with great vocals; seems unlikely to me that this singer would record just these two songs and then disappear, but I have no idea if he went on to other things. At Garage Days Revisited site (http://ieweekly.com/2007/10/feature-stories/garage-days-revisited/), I note the following:

"..William Locy Sound on Arlington Avenue, where numerous IE surf and garage groups visited to immortalize their music on acetate demonstration discs. Relatively few groups ever made the transition to an actual vinyl 45 release, but numerous rare Locy Sound acetates have been compiled for CD releases in recent years."

If this record is on any of those CD comps, it sure is in hiding; though "Velvets" is a rather ubiquitous band name and therefore harder to do searches on, I've been unable to dig up anything on the internet.  It was difficult to pick which side should be the "a" side, they're both top-notch; hear most of each side at the clip.

Questions answered promptly. Stated grade is the visual grade, audio grade should meet or exceed that; in any case, listen to the sound clip. Label or sleeve defects, if any, will be noted and/or pictured. I take pride in my packaging and shipping, you will be pleased.
