MONSOON Ever So Lonely EP INDIPOP 1st UK ISSUE Sheila Chandra INDIE C80
Original 1981 UK Indipop Records 4-track 7" EP housed in plain white sleeve with double-sided insert, IND 1.
Note that this issue does not include a stickered plastic bag.
This original scarce 1981 indie release was rerecorded the following year on major labels. However these original versions are often considered the best, and I'm not sure if they've had a reissue yet.
Features Sheila Chandra who went on to success in the 80's and may still be recording.
Vinyl visually top end VG plus, close to EX. Surfaces are still very glossy and display just a very few light hairline scuff marks.
The A side plays VG with some run-in and intro crackle to A1. This soon eases off and then the A side plays mostly EX. The B side follows an identical pattern.
Labels are clean and undefaced.
Plain white sleeve EX.
Double sided insert has a non-tacky patch of residue from removed sticker to top left corner of main picture side. Else clean and tidy with marginal creasing to top edge.
