Up for auction is a super nice copy of the ultra rare Ike Turner funk album "A Black Man's Soul" originally released in the U.S. on Pompeii Records (SD-6003) in 1969.
-Guaranteed original First Pressing, not reissue -Still in opened factory shrink wrap -Original paste-down cover -Disc comes in audiophile poly-lined protective sleeve
-From my personal collection

Condition: The cover is generally well-preserved still in opened factory shrink wrap.  The shrink wrap itself shows some age, but the cover underneath is bright and colorful.  No ring wear or fading.  The upper left corner where the shrink wrap has torn away shows corner wear and some chipping loss (see photo); otherwise, the cover looks "as new".  The back is super clean, bone white as it should be.  The open edge is clean, no nicks or rubbing loss.  Price sticker is on shrink, not on the cover itself.  Very-well preserved original, hard to find in this condition.  Sleeve also has a slight "dishing" from being in the shrink wrap for 50 years, but if you remove the shrink, I'm sure it will flatten out perfectly. Grade: Excellent Minus (EX-).  Nice!
The vinyl is in great shape, still retains its original high gloss shine and luster.  When I bought this record, it was still sealed, and I opened it to check the record to make sure it was correct and not warped.  I spot play-tested it--sound is great, clean, clear--and then archived it.  Thus, this record has never been played, and the new owner will be the first to do so!  There are no significant scratches or scuffs, just some very faint hairlines here and there probably from taking the record out of the paper inner sleeve a few times before I put it in the poly-lined sleeve.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little, if any, previous play.  Grade the vinyl Excellent Plus (EX+).
