PACKAGING: We pack all items VERY securely for super-safe delivery. All LPs and 45s are placed in a new plastic sleeve and sandwiched between extra stiff cardboard inserts for added protection. LPs are placed outside the cover (unless sealed), to prevent seam splits. We use the strongest custom-fitted record mailer boxes available. 78s are secured between multiple layers of stiff cardboard and shipped in deeper boxes with plenty of padding.

OTHER DETAILS: Box sets run slightly more. Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days (Mon-Fri) after payment is received. Shipping is by United States Postal Service (USPS), unless otherwise noted. International & Canada shipments weighing 4 pounds or more (usually 5 or more LPs), are required to use Priority Mail International. To get insurance on International/Canada shipments also requires using Priority.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS, Please Note: We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts", US & International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility, where they apply. Please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. Check with your Customs office to see what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight company or when you pick the item up.

OUR RECORD GRADING SYSTEM
: We always grade very strictly, aiming to clearly identify any possible flaws or condition issues. Visual grading is determined as follows:

MINT CONDITION (M): Truly "As New", as it was when it left the factory. No scratches, scuffs, flaws, defects, marks or other indications of being handled or played. Records that are Still Sealed in their original factory wrapping are considered to be in this category. (Please Note: Many records prior to the early-mid 1960s were NOT wrapped/sealed by the factory when new; so Still New, Mint, Unplayed items from before that time can be without wrapping.)

NEAR MINT (NM): We are still talking about vinyl that is virtually flawless, very bright and shiny, still no scuffs or scratches. May have been played, though very sparingly. The disc will play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-): Still no scratches and nearly flawless, may have the tiniest of small scuffs, a light finger mark or two, labels are clean and unmarked.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): May have 1-3 very minor, barely visible scuffs (such as from brushing of a fingernail or contact with the inner sleeve), possibly a hairline scratch or two; nothing that is obvious or would be expected to affect play. Vinyl is bright and shiny, labels are clean and unmarked.

(You are not likely to find many records in our store below this grade.)

VERY GOOD (VG): Some visible surface wear, such as minor scratches or scuffs. Vinyl will still have good luster. Labels may have minor imperfections (small stickers, initials, light spindle marks, etc.), but otherwise clean.

GOOD (G): Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that would likely cause minor surface noise but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips. Vinyl may appear slightly dull or grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc., but still easily legible. There may be minor wear at the spindle hole.

ALBUM COVER ("JACKET") GRADES:

MINT CONDITION (M): Absolutely flawless; no corner dings, marks, writing, tears, dents, fading, discoloration, impressions from the disc or other flaws.

NEAR MINT (NM): Only very minor signs of edge/corner wear or a faint hint of cover impressions from the disc ("ring wear"); none that are too noticeable or that interfere with the complete integrity of the Artwork.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): May have some minor ring wear, or very light corner bumps or creases. No seam splits, wrinkles, puckers or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.

VERY GOOD (VG): Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks, slight wear. Moderate ring wear, possibly resulting in minor loss of ink. There may be slight discoloration or very light staining, minor seam wear but no splits or cracks. Corners may have small creases, mild fraying or light bumps.

GOOD (G): Cover is more worn and used with noticeable ring wear. Seams may be starting to split or may have clean tape repairs. Possible yellowing or discoloration, some larger writing, labels or other marks. Corners may have damage or creases and there may be scratches or gouges that otherwise damage the artwork.
