HOWEVER IN MOST CASES THEY WILL HAVE VARIOUS INSTITUTIONAL MARKS HANDWRITTEN REFERENCE NUMBERS STAMPS ETC. THERE ARE NUMEROUS SCARCE COLUMBIA, DECCA AND HMV EXAMPLES. PLEASE BARE IN MIND THAT THESE HAVE COME FROM A LIBRARY SO THE CONDITION WILL NOT BE FANTASTIC, ALTHOUGH SOME EXAMPLES ARE QUITE PLEASING . THERE ARE SOME EXCELLENT EXAMPLES AND I AM SURE SOME WILL EXCEDE YOUR OWN EXPECTATIONS. SARASATE
EIGHT SPANISH DANCES NAVARRA
ALFREDO CAMPOLI

STEREO

Label-L'OISEAU LYRE

Catalogue- DSLO 22

 1st pressing PINK LABEL

Record-VG++(Very Good Plus Plus)
A decent example, the record has retained some of its shine. There are some light surface marks occasional hairlines etc and minimal signs of light wear. There is a curved mark that can be noticed edge to edge nearly SIDE 1, this is very faint and doesnt effect the audio just a visual cosmetic issue, with a more noticeable nono feelable hairline. Sticker residue and sticker present on side 1.
Side 1 VG+ Side 2 EX
Due to this record being stored and largely unused for many years I would recommend a professional clean to enhance this example further.
I have listened to large extracts of the audio and it played very well throughout both sides. There is some light background surface noise noticed in quieter passages, less so in louder busier sections. There are some beautiful clear passages, with some sections having some low level ticks and pops and more noticeable surface noise for varying periods of time nothing too long. The main areas noticed was a series of ticks that lasted 1 minute approx towards the end of side 2 band 1. There was a single rotation that created a hiss distorted noise at the beginning of side 2 band 2. There was a short series of ticks noticed towards the end of side 2.
Generally speaking the record played through and was a pleasnt listen, considering this is a very sparse recording piano violin for the most part the audio was Excellent. It is very hard to achieve high audio gradings with this type of recording. This happily falls into the VG+/EX- category on thew whole.

Sleeve EX (Excellent)
PLEASE VIEW THE EXTENSIVE PHOTO GALLERY FOR A DETAILED VISUAL OF THE CONDITION
A solid sleeve example, the front is clean and reasonablywell preserved, there is some minor surface marks and minimal wear noticed, with some minor wear in the lower left corner, with some light writing impressions noticed in this area, light sticker resiude top left corner. There is some light ring wear showing and minor handling marks but generally a solid clean example. Some minor edge and corner wear noticed otherwise a solid and presentable sleeve. The reverse is clean and well preserved for the most part. There is some light toning and light ring wear showing but again nicely preserved. There is an old price sticker in the lower right corner.
