This is Very Nice -Hard to find Copy Dark Green Apple/PCS 7088 Stereo UK Beatles LP !!! (UK LP 1st  Pressing 1969) !!!!

 

The album cover depicts the four Beatles crossing the street in front of Abbey Road studios on Savile Row. It was taken on a cool but clear day near the end of the Abbey Road sessions on August 8. The idea was brilliant; the execution was simple; the image is timeless.

John leads the procession, sporting a beard and long hair, his face obscured from the camera. He is the only one in a white suit, along with white shoes. He is followed by Ringo, sporting a black suit, a short beard, and collar-length hair. Next is Paul, who stands out for several reasons: he is wearing a black suit like Ringo, but he is the only barefoot member of the troupe, he is the only one with short hair, he is the only one that is clean shaven, he is the only one with a , and he is the only one out of step with the others. George brings up the tail of the group, wearing blue denim and sporting a beard and long hair.

The Labels are nice and only show one or two light faint spindle trails.

The labels are  clean.

There is a sold date 24/12/1969 from the store on the side 2 !! (This is a Very Rare mark!!)

Visual: VG+ !!! 

The disc is  clean, warp free and retains its deep glossy, black vinyl sheen, but has some marks !!!! 

Play: VG+ !!!! !!!

It plays with some crackle,  but  still sounds great, so still a great playing copy. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays well without the needle sticking or jumping. 

Please Note: A clean on a Proper Cleaning machine, would help a Great Deal to IMPROVE ON SOUND QUALITY, SO THIS RECORD CAN ONLY GET BETTER!!!!

The classic laminated glossy, “Garrod and Lofthouse” photo cover, is intact.

It has some age wear and slightly scuffed along the loading edge .

All LPs are graded visually and conservatively under many bright lights. Questionable marks are play graded.

 

 

 

GRADING:

 

 

Factory Sealed/ Brand New: Never opened with original shrink wrap on it!!!

 

Mint:  New condition...Look like new, no flaws whatsoever. Cover will look like it has just has been removed from shrink wrap.

 

Near Mint: Played One or Two times, no flaws, but a remote ever-so-slight amount of that shiny luster may be gone.  Jacket will be virtually flawless, slightest signs of wear, maybe one bumped corner, or a hint of edge wear.  

EXCELLENT

This Item  may have some marks like -light scratch or light sleeve scuffing, that may sound briefly in a quieter passage.   The jacket may have the very lightest signs of ring wear ,

some light corner or edge wear.

 

VG+: Very Good Plus. This record will have some light marks(light scratches and light sleeve scuffs), and it might make an occasional pop or crackle in parts, but will not even come close to overwhelming the listening experience.  Still a very desirable grade... As for the jacket, it will start to show more signs of wear than a VG++ jacket, the ring wear may be slightly more evident, the edge wear or corner wear may be more defined as well.

 

VG: Very Good. The record may have several scratches and scuffs, though aside from some popping and crackling, will still be an enjoyable listen. No skips here. The jacket will have far more wear than the previous grades, such as:  edge wear to the point of some minor seam splitting (the kind that can be repaired with tape or other means), ring wear (not terrible, but still distracting from the image), edge and corner wear, minor writing or a few stickers, or other similar defects.

 

VG- : Not terrible, usually represents 1 or 2 "ugly" marks or scratches, might be a little sketchy in a few spots, other than that would fair as a VG record.  The jacket will show wear - ring wear, seam splits (still should be able to be taped up for repair), some writing and/or stickers, edge and corner wear, or other similar defects.
