IMPOSSIBLY RARE, most likely one-of-a-kind, white label US test press 45. Features two tunes that seem to be unissued (but "Don't Ask The Question" has been comped on "The Magic Cube" CD. The a-side, "Don't Ask The Question" is a SCORCHING uptempo northern soul / r&b / garage dancer with screaming vocals. Lots of potential in this. B-side is a moody beast of an instrumental r&b tune with mean harmonica playing. Have a listen below!
One thing is very weird with these two tunes (and the same goes for the other test pressing I have up for grabs this week, check it out ). If you "Shazam" them, you'll see that they appear on two digital releases, the a-side as "Dont Ask The Question" by Love Link and the b-side as "Canyon Kachina" by VGATE. These releases otherwise feature super weird spoken word / experimental tunes and I have no idea how these two tracks ended up on those releases, but I have to mention it here. I have tried to track down the people behind the VGATE and Love Link releases but without luck. The fidelity on this 7" is however MUCH BETTER and this 7" is an original 1960's test pressing.
