Up for auction is a nice original copy of the Paul McCartney solo album "McCartney" originally released in the U.S. on Apple Records (STAO 3363) in 1970.

-Guaranteed original pressing
-RL/LH Robert Ludwig/Lee Hulko mastering etched in run-out
-STERLING mastering stamp
-Green Apple labels with misprint
-Still in opened factory shrink wrap
-Original paste-down gatefold cover
-No UPC/bar code on cover

Note:
The earliest U.S. pressings had "McCartney" misprinted on the label with a space as "Mc Cartney".  These labels also spelled out his entire name as "Paul Mc Cartney".  On later printings the labels only stated "McCartney" in italics.  These misprints are very rare.

Early pressings also had the RL Robert Ludwig etching in the run-out.  Later printings did not.

Condition:
Cover is very nice, still in its original shrink wrap.  Some light rub to corners.  Shrink is torn in places, but mostly still intact.  Very nice!  Grade: Excellent Plus (EX+).

The vinyl is nice, still has its original glossy shine.  Has a couple light, superficial hairlines, nothing serious or deep that affects the sound quality which is excellent.  Not audiophile perfect, but none of these original Apple pressings are.  Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).
