Up for auction is a nice, original copy of the David Bowie album "Hunky Dory" originally released in the U.S. on RCA Records (LSP 4623) in 1971.

Note:
These original matte textured covers were very prone to wear--most copies are heavily worn, but this one is very nicely preserved--one of the nicer examples I've seen.

Condition:
Cover is very nice, just some light rub to the corners and seams.  Seams are nice, no splits, but they show some typical wear.  No ring wear on front or back--very clean.  Still very attractive original.  Grade: Excellent Minus (EX-), better than typical VG+ copies.

Vinyl looks very clean, still has its original glossy shine.  No serious scratches or scuffs, just a few light hairlines and some other signs of having been taken out in inner sleeve a few times.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play.  Looks pretty clean.  Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).
