Recorded in 1975 this is the first release on Brian Eno's Obscure Records Label. (and produced by Eno)

Innovative composer Gavin Bryars is one of the many who have been fascinated by the Titanic. This 1969 composition “The Sinking of the Titanic” (a favourite of Tom Waits) has become a modern classic - a ghostly tapestry of eerie echoes, distant sounds almost like whale songs and interjected rifts representing the band that was playing even as the tragedy ocurred.

The LP is near mint. Side one is unmarked. Side two has a light line hardly visible. A little crackle on the run in, probably normal for this vinyl.
The sleeve has a little edge wear and original price label on. The back is very clean.
