PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us.  Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire.   All Canadian and Overseas shipping ~ Please inquire about rates. PERFECTLY STILL SEALED ....1973 COLLECTIBLE FROM SOME 45 YEARS AGO...

Never opened /// never played ... 4 sharp corners!

Lynyrd Skynyrd's first LP ... the 1973 release, (Pronounced 'Leh-nerd Skin-nerd), that remains one of the most impressive Southern USA hard-rock albums ever released. The album is considered hard rock perfection. All of the songs sound incredibly fresh even today, 45 years later. Considering that it was released in late 1973 with other rock giants of the era, Skynyrd stand out with their complex studio polishing, and at the tme, even more impressive when understanding they were a totally anonymous band at the time.

The members of Lynyrd Skynyrd all hailed from Jacksonville, Florida where they attended the same high school (even taking the name of gym coach Leonard Skinner as their group moniker). They developed a reputation for wild on-stage performances that only increased after going on tour with The Who in 1973. Famed producer/singer/songwriter Al Kooper (Bob Dylan, Blues Project)) scouted them out while looking for fresh talent to record on his newly launched Sounds Of The South label for MCA. The rest is history. The triple threat lineup of guitarists Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, and Ed King would become the template for all Southern rock bands; and lead singer Ronnie Van Zant's tough-yet-tender vocalizing would come to symbolize the true meaning of what a rock frontman should be. Bassist Leon Wilkerson and drummer Robert Burns help to push the band to its collective limits, and the keyboard playing of Billy Powell adds a whole new dimension to every track with his burning runs and honky-tonk sensibility. The songs? "I Ain't The One", "Tuesday's Gone", "Gimme Three Steps", "Simple Man", "Things Goin' On", "Mississippi Kid", "Poison Whiskey", and the climatic "Free Bird" are all classic hardrock staples which makes "PRONOUNCED" one of the most astonishing debut recordings in the music history of Southern Rock. Another big, BIG plus: the record kicks major ass!!!
