Recorded by Trane in 1964 and issued on the Impulse label, this is a UK issue on the Jasmine label. One of his more overlooked albums for some reason, and a fine introduction to his playing, before he went too ‘way out’. (for my ears anyway)…but essential listening if you’re a serious jazz fan!

From a well cared for jazz collection, the record shows little sign of play. The sleeve is near excellent.
