'‘Short Movie’ is Laura’s fifth album in seven years, which is a remarkable achievement for someone who has yet to turn 25 years old. This album marks a new chapter in Laura’s sound and development, this record moving towards a much bigger & electric feel, it’s a much freer and looser sounding album than anything she has done before. Laura has been nominated for the Mercury Prize three times; she has also been nominated for two Brit Awards (winning best female in 2011). 'Short Movie' will be released on CD in a digipack and also as a double gatefold heavyweight vinyl. Fantastic early press already includes features in Q and Uncut as well as Track of the Week in NME and mentions in Independent and Independent on Sunday, also previous album Once I Was An Eagle was featured as one of NME's 40 Greatest Albums of the Decade So Far. Laura announced a run of of four tiny UK club shows as a warm up, tickets for which could only be bought by winners of a ticket lottery, and demand was phenominal.
