THERE ARE NO RESERVES ON OUR ITEMS.  THE SURCHARGE FOR A RESERVE HAS GOTTEN FAIRLY EXPENSIVE FOR US.  I CANNOT AFFORD TO ABSORB THESE FEES.  I WILL NOT PASS ONE PENNY OF THAT EXPENSE ON TO THE BUYER BY RAISING WHAT WE CONSIDER A FAIR STARTING PRICE FOR THE ITEM BEING AUCTIONED.  HENCE, WE WILL JUST LIST EACH ITEM WITH THE STARTING PRICE AS THE RESERVE FOR EACH ITEM.

   I see some sellers asking hundreds of dollars for this original first pressing.  This one is all but perfect!  Let's start at $9.99 and have a little fun with it.

      Definitely one of the most important LP's ever made by any musical group in that it created a whole new genre of music. NIRVANA's lp "Nevermind" .  This is a bonifide 1st pressing that I bought new and only played once until today.  Not my kind of music, but very catchy anyway.  On the Geffen label, stampers read 9124-425-S-1 (side 1) and 9124-425-S-2 (side 2).   

     I have test played this record, and I am blown away by the sonics of this pressing.  I have a very high end - calibrated system, and if there is magic in the vinyl this thing gets it out in the open where it belongs.  WOW!   This LP has incredible base and vocals with huge space and dynamic range.  The mids are right on and whole house shook from the drums and base lows! 

  LP:   NM.   Run off wax has stamped along its inner grooves the catalog numbers as stated above.   The wax has been cleaned on my VPI 16.5 record vac using the amazing Disc Doctor fluid, and test played on my high end system (see below).   

Cover:  Cover is NM- with its original shrink wrap.  Shrink is split at the seam about half way across the bottom, but the cover is still NM perfect.  Just beautiful - still looks like it is new.  Inner sleeve is M without any splits or tears.

            

       My system -  Just in case anyone is worried about what my vinyl has been dragging across its surface - rest easy.  All play testing of vinyl is done on a VPI Classic Turntable and a Dynavector 17d3 cartridge.  This is a fairly expensive and high end set up.  The cartridge is unforgiving with sonic purity, and plays magnificent.  

        The rest of the system is mostly McIntosh components with a lot of tweaking with EAR, VPI, Seismic Sink, and other components.  An analog McIntosh Audio Control Center allows me to be extremely flexible with any format I want to use.  Took me 20 years to figure this out and finally get this half- way right.  Still not all the way there to "Nirvana."  (no pun intended!)

UPC code got this right in the description and rating of this lp.  It is European and is what they call the "320" ?  I was focused on the the stampers which bare out this being a first pressing of that lp.  All I know is it kicks tail!  One of the better sound lp's I heard in awhile.  Sorry for any confusion.
