PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. MINTY CLEAN (double) VINYL!
PLAYS AMAZING !
~ Most amazing **BEST** SOUND QUALITY around ~
Original "limited edition" MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LABS
issue of the LEGENDARY WHITE ALBUM ! Was but a limited and long gone
super-sound pressing from the mid-70s and highly sought some 40+ years
later.
What distinguishes an Original master Recording LP from any other record ?
1.
Original Master Recordings are exclusively transferred from the
original stereo master tape that the musicians recorded in the studio
(not from a second, third, or fourth generation copy of that master
tape).
2. Each Original Master Recording employs Mobile Fidelity
Sound lab's exclusive half-speed mastering process, thus capturing every
nuance of sound from the master tape.
3. Quality, not quantity,
is the overwhelming consideration in the creation of each Original
Master Recording. The number of pressings is strictly controlled. These
limited editions assure you that the quality of the last pressing
matches the quality of the first.
4. Original Master recordings
are custom pressed overseas by the Victor Company of Japan (JVC). Super
Vinyl, an exclusive compound far superior to even so-called 100% virgin
vinyl, is utilized to achieve maximum clarity and startling
quietness.... Super Vinyl also bestows unsurpassed durability to each
Original Master Recording LP, achieving a "playing lifespan" at least
five times longer than mass- produced records.
5. Each Original Master Recording is ultra-packaged to maintain flatness and prevent warpage.
MFSL
became well known for quality vinyl pressings and went out of business
in the 1990's -- their pressings are now extremely sought after and only
getting harder to get by the day....
***COMPLETE ISSUE including two fold-out MOBILE FIDELITY INSERTS
This album came close on the heels of their breakthrough At Fillmore East set and featured the boogie rocker classic "One Way Out" and two entire album sides devoted to "Mountain Jam", a 33-minute improvisation. The remainder of the album was recorded in-studio and served to cement the band's reputation as innovative Southern rockers. Several tracks featured a new emphasis on more-lyrical melodic work, notably on "Melissa" and the guitar classic "Little Martha." The lilting "Blue Sky" became an album-oriented rock radio staple, while "Ain't Wastin' Time No More" served as both a quiet generational anthem and a personal statement of purpose by the band in the face of Duane's death.
The widespread story regarding the origin of the album's title, that the truck involved in Duane's fatal motorcycle accident was a peach truck, is not correct; the truck involved was a flatbed lumber truck. Rather the album name came from something Duane said in an interview shortly before he was killed. When asked what he was doing to help the revolution, Duane replied, "There ain't no revolution, it's evolution, but every time I'm in Georgia I eat a peach for peace."
