PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us.  Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire.   All Canadian and Overseas shipping ~ Please inquire about rates. ......STILL IN OUTER FACTORY PLASTIC

RARE & SOUGHT 1966 first pressing in stereo featuring the cool hip garage sounds of the Sunset Strip - fan fave THE LEAVES ... an intoxicating two sides of grooves with a nice folkrock and fuzz punk mix....there's a lot more to this album than just their rumbling garage cooker Hey Joe which was a breakout hit for the band....

Great fuzzy garage album, opens with with the fast paced 'Dr Stone' (a tip of the hat to Lennon/Mccartneys "Dr Robert"??!?... perhaps......only double time and with screaming harmonica!) and keeps its edge throughout. "Too Many People" is a garage rant against social formalities... "wear a suit and tie, when i'd rather sit and die." fantastic. Of course "Hey Joe" is probably what this album is to be most remembered for but the Leaves originals are just as iconic and innovative. Great 66' sound....a sensational album when it hit the streets back in 1966 ... yet unlike The Byrds, The Stones, or even Bob Dylan, The Leaves seemed to have bounced out of nowhere, taking full advantage of the times and the counter culture. They nailed some great covers like “Tobacco Road” [a staple of nearly every garage band] and unexpectedly (influenced from fellow Sunset Strip-sters The Byrds) “He Was A Friend Of Mine.” And what keeps The Leaves alive in the hearts and minds of so many, was there take on the song “Hey Joe,” which they held off till the middle of the album ... and not to forget "War Of Distortion", "Get Out Of My Life Woman" & more...

Dr. Stone Just a Memory Get Out Of My Life, Woman Girl From the East He Was a Friend of Mine Hey Joe! Words Back on the Avenue War of Distortion Tobacco Road Good Bye, My Lover Too Many People

CONDITION: The Cover: VG++ original factory cellophane, downgraded for light visible use, and the once cellophane tape (since successfully removed) along
