The lyrics are quite silly at times, but the lyrics fit nicely with the psychedelia at the time. The opening track titled "Kaleidoscope" is however quite short, but sets off the album to a good start. Followed by many other terrific stories told by Peter Daltrey. My favorite particular songs from here are "Dive Into Yesterday", "Mr. Small The Watch Repairer Man", "(Further Reflections) In The Room Of Percussion", and "Dear Nellie Goodrich" (which is my favorite track from the album).

The album is known for its 8 minute track "The Sky Children" which ends the album quite nicely. The melody repeats over and over, but I seem to enjoy it. Most of the most of the tracks are just excellent in their own way. Its a terrible shame that this band/album isn't higher ranked than other great psychedelic albums during this time period. It is sad that this band did not 'shine' during the era of psychedelic era.
