British 1st issue of the soundtrack to ‘The Godfather' (1972, dir. Francis Ford Coppola), played by Neil Richardson and his Orchestra. This is a tie-in to the release of the film the same year but is not the original Nino Rota score. However, it is an interesting companion to the original movie soundtrack album.
The film starred Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Richard Castellano, Robert Duvall, Sterling Hayden, John Marley, Richard Conte, and Diane Keaton.
Neil Richardson And His Orchestra – Music From The Godfather (1972)
Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
VINYL: EX. Looks very clean on visual inspection. No sign of any scuffs, marks and hairlines across either side. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is fantastic throughout. Run-ins are clear with no surface noise or static. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A superb listening experience.
OUTER SLEEVE (COVER): VG-EX. Colours are clear and unfaded. Superb laminated front. Few creases in from spine and edges and disk ring outline visible with light scuffing to bottom. Corners are lightly worn, spine has dark band of soiling but edges and spine clean and undamaged. Back of sleeve has only very mild soiling and discolouration at bottom and band of soiling along laminated spine flipover. Text readable and clear. Overall, a decent example.
INNER SLEEVE: VG-EX. Original MFP. White paper with rounded corners and black & white printed catalogue thumbnails. A few minor creases/folds through normal handling.

ITEM CONDITION - items are graded according to Record Collector definitions - see below:
MINT: The
record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or
deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as
the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records
advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The
record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little
lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight
wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has
obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in
sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional
light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without
any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has
been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated,
perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents
suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration,
etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not
been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may
even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or
defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to
scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly
damaged or partly missing.
