REDBONE - COME AND GET YOUR REDBONE Best Of SEALED 1975 Hype PROMO 2LP

TIGHTLY FACTORY SEALED! DISCS PRESUMED MINT!

Please note: This is a fairly new account because I have been commissioned to sell a large collection of records that once belonged a DJ in Santa Barbara, CA (more about him below) and the collection belongs to DodgerBob. The low number of feedback is due to this, but I have been selling for years under my account which is: nowhere.man where I have a 100% positive feedback score with 333 transactions and tons of great seller reviews. We have already gotten 100% positive, glowing feedback which we encourage you to check out. Buy with absolute confidence. I go to great trouble to describe every highlight and flaw accurately and fairly.

There are many, many incredible promotional copies mainly from the late 60’s through the 70’s being listed now and for some time to come...please follow us and check out our other listings- we of course offer combined shipping on multiple purchases...we will simply add $1 USD per additional album.

WOW!! For sale is an absolutely gorgeous, pristine FACTORY SEALED, guaranteed unplayed first pressing of Redbone - Come and Get Your Redbone - The Best of Redbone! The sleeve is in spectacular condition, the shrink wrap is snug and tight. Many records in this collection have remained factory sealed as they did not fit the radio station format or the personal tastes of the owner. They have been in climate controlled storage for 30+ years. More detailed description to follow below.

Truly one of the best copies you will find. As close to “brand new” as a 50 year old record can be!!!

Sleeve: SS/NM (Still Sealed - Near Mint)

ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAP is still snug and intact, no splits or tears anywhere in shrink- even the shrink from the promo clipped corner remains attached... “2 Record Set” hype sticker is affixed to the front and this sleeve remains sharp and uncreased...slight, inevitable disc impression...all corners sharp, seams and spine unsplit, not cracked and perfectly legible. One corner has been promo clipped and it is likely the discs contain the white label promo labels (though I cannot guarantee this or confirm without opening which I’m not going to do)

Truly remarkable! Absolutely 100% guaranteed to be the original factory shrink wrap. Many records in this collection have never been opened and these have been filed away in climate controlled storage for 30+ years.

Disc(s): SS/PM (Still Sealed - Presumed Mint)

Discs have never been removed, presumed mint as it came from the factory.

Labels: SS/M

Labels presumed Mint as they have never been seen since being factory sealed. As this was promo clipped, there is a good chance that the labels are white promo labels but cannot guarantee this. Sometimes standard copies were clipped and given away as promos too.

Inner: SS/M

Inner sleeve and any original contents presumed mint as they have never been removed from original packaging.

This copy is from the collection of Bob Senn - a renowned Santa Barbara, California DJ and program director for KTMS FM “The Rock on the Coast”. When Mr. Senn passed, his collection was acquired by my friend who has commissioned me to help sell them. There are thousands of records in the collection, almost all promotional copies in mint or close to mint condition.

The disc will be put into a generic inner sleeve, placed behind the jacket in a plastic outer sleeve (NOT POSSIBLE WITH SEALED RECORDS OF COURSE BUT EVERY CARE WILL BE TAKEN TO ENSURE THE SHRINK WRAP DOES NOT SEPARATE) and sandwiched snugly between two thick cardboard stiffeners. $4 via USPS Media Mail or $15 via USPS Priority Mail Package within the USA. (If Priority Shipping total comes to $10 or less, a $3 refund will be given- the extra cost is to cover shipping materials- mailers, stiffeners, extra inner and outer sleeves)

Grading System:

SS (Still Sealed)

Unopened records, still in original shrink wrap. In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e. evidence of mildew or bent corners, etc.)

M (Mint)

The record and sleeve are in perfect, original condition. The record may have been played but will have no evidence of deterioration. (I will only use this grade on SEALED records that appear to be Mint as I believe any non-new, opened record cannot be truly called MINT.

NM (Near Mint)

A nearly perfect record. Any visible defects are of the type that "disappear" when the record is tilted under a strong light and they should not affect play. Sleeves in near mint condition will have no obvious signs of wear. Practically imperceptible ring wear may be allowed but no creases, seam-splits, or other easily detected flaws will be present.

EX (Excellent)

A very clean record. Near mint except for slight, superficial signs of wear. Sleeves in this condition may have marginal defects, but will not have significant creases or splits.

VG+ (Very Good Plus)

A well-cared-for record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but should not be split.

VG (Very Good)

A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy.

G (Good)

A well-worn record that is still playable. Good does not necessarily mean "bad" but a record in this condition will have audible distractions and may have visible groove wear. Sleeves may have all manner of defects, but are still intact.

FA (Fair) and P (Poor)

These grades are for beat-up records. I will only sell records in these grades if they are extremely rare and sought-after.
