Visual grading of disc: Side one: Near Mint / Side two: Mint Minus

Condition of sleeve: Very strange for Mercury to issue an LP with thin cardboard stock (similar to European
releases) in 1984, but that's what we have here. As a result, there's a small frayed spot at the center of the spine (see photo #4)
which wouldn't have happened with heavier card stock. Bottom left corner has a tiny ding and a small
crease on the right side near the opening on the front. Includes inner sleeve on similar card stock with photos
and lyrics shown in photo #3. 1st pressing gold promo stamp on back.

Most were stored carefully, some were not. All of my gradings are visual and more often than not, quite generous.

PLEASE READ MY MY GRADING SCALE
(Near Mint and Mint Minus are not the same grade)
Near Mint: Our highest grade for an opened vinyl. Record will be close to perfect in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small hairline mark, scratch or some paper scuffs on play area but no audible distractions.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed').
Mint minus: A scuff or two or a very light mark or two on either or both sides that may possibly be heard.
VG++: One step down. A few faint marks or paper scuffs that may be audible. May show some signs of use.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will more than likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play through.
