Excellent (EX) Up for auction is a nice original pressing of the David Bowie album Low, originally released in the U.S. on RCA/Victor (CPL1-2030) in 1977:
-Guaranteed original 1st pressing, not reissue -Original and correct Black RCA labels
-STERLING mastering stamp in deadwax -Original inner sleeve w/ liner notes -NOT record club pressing -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Note:
Original U.S. pressings of Low have the CPL1-2030 catalog number--most copies sold as "original" on ebay do not have this proper number--they are reissues.
Condition: Cover
looks very nice, with only very light signs of wear. No
ring wear on front or back. Rubbing top edge. Back is nice and bright. Corners are
good, sharp. Seams are nice, intact, no splits, light rub. Top
of spine clean, titles nice, with one small chip (see photo). Still attractive,
colorful original cover. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies
Vinyl
also looks very nice, still has its original shine. Both sides look
clean overall. No apparently scratches or scuffs, but under a strong light, perhaps some faint superficial signs of having been taken out of paper sleeve a few times. Looks like it's been played only a couple times at most, but handled with care. Very nice
sound quality for an
original pressing! No marks around spindle holes.
Grade: Excellent (EX)
Combined Shipping:
Yes, I offer significant combined shipping discounts. Just ask!
International Shipping:
Because
of unreliable postal services, buyers in France and Italy must pay for
Expedited international shipping, which includes tracking and
insurance. I've had too many records lost or damaged shipping to these
countries. Also, I do not ship to Central or South America, or China.
How I Pack Your Records:
I
remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to
packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for
padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping
box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
100%
satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying. My 100% positive feedback
allows you to buy with confidence. Returns accepted, no questions
asked.
About Me: -I have been a record collector for over 40 years and a seller on eBay for over 20 years.
-I consider myself a professional, not someone who is selling records he found at a garage sale like many on eBay.
-I try to grade accurately -- beware of sellers who claim they grade "conservatively" -- rarely is that the case.
-I don't just give a record a grade, but I also explain why I give it the grade that I do. -I explain why I describe a record as "original" or a "first pressing" -- most records on sold on eBay as original are NOT. -I visually grade my records, and sometimes spot-test them for audio quality -- I can't listen to them all the way through. -Every stereo system is different, and what sounds good on mine may not sound good on yours. If so, return it. -Every seller makes mistakes not matter how much experience they have -- record selling is NOT a perfect science. -If I make a mistake, or the record isn't what you expected, return it for a full refund -- and I will pay for return shipping. -I have 100% positive feedback for a reason -- and I strive to keep it that way by being accurate about what I sell.
