Up for auction is a rare original pressing of the Guns N' Roses album Appetite For Destruction, originally released in the U.S. on Geffen Records (GHS 24148) in 1987:
-Guaranteed original U.S. pressing, NOT reissue or import -STERLING mastering etched in deadwax -Original black Geffen labels -Original "banned" cover -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Note:
I do not grade inner sleeves, but clear tape has been added to reinforce the seams (see photo), but still nice.
Cover looks great, no ring wear or seam splits.  Still retains its original glossy shine.  Super colorful and clean looking.  Seams show some rubbing wear here and there.  Spine has some typical small creases (see photo), but titles are clear and legible.  Corners have light rub.  Still a very attractive and collectable original. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG++)
Vinyl is still pretty nice, still retains much of its original shine.  Does show a few light, superficial scratches on both sides, but nothing deep or serious -- nothing that should affect the quality of playback.  Labels are clean, unmarked.  Looks like this record has been played a number of times but not abused or mishandled--still nice.
Spot-Tested: The audio quality is nice--has some pressing noise on the lead-in grooves, but once the music kicks in, it fades into the background--no obvious audio distortions or distractions.  Not audiophile perfect, but none of these original pressings were.  Most copies of this record have been played to death, but this one has been preserved pretty well--not pristine, but still a nice copy. Grade: Very Good (VG)/Very Good Plus (VG+)

Combined Shipping:
Yes, I offer significant combined shipping discounts.  Just ask!

International Shipping
:
Because of unreliable postal services, buyers in France and Italy must pay for Expedited international shipping, which includes tracking and insurance.  I've had too many records lost or damaged shipping to these countries.  Also, I do not ship to Central or South America, or China.
How I Pack Your Records:
I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing.  I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection.  I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
100% satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying.  My 100% positive feedback allows you to buy with confidence.  Returns accepted, no questions asked.
About Me: -I have been a record collector for over 40 years and a seller on eBay for over 20 years.
-I consider myself a professional, not someone who is selling records he found at a garage sale like many on eBay.
-I try to grade accurately -- beware of sellers who claim they grade "conservatively" -- rarely is that the case.
-I don't just give a record a grade, but I also explain why I give it the grade that I do. -I explain why I describe a record as "original" or a "first pressing" -- most records on sold on eBay as original are NOT. -I visually grade my records, and sometimes spot-test them for audio quality -- I can't listen to them all the way through. -Every stereo system is different, and what sounds good on mine may not sound good on yours.  If so, return it. -Every seller makes mistakes not matter how much experience they have -- record selling is NOT a perfect science. -If I make a mistake, or the record isn't what you expected, return it for a full refund -- and I will pay for return shipping. -I have 100% positive feedback for a reason -- and I strive to keep it that way by being accurate about what I sell.
