ROLLING STONES – "Some Girls" - Vinyl LP - A&M / Rolling Stones Records (278 854-1) This was part of a series of colored vinyl reissues in the four signature colors of the album cover: blue, pink, green, and yellow. But the first of the pink copies turned out purple/mauve because of a mistake at the pressing plant. These copies were withdrawn by the merchandising company and replaced with proper pink copies. Well, most of them were - which is why this version is so rare.
Record: NM / Cover: NM I received this still sealed with a strike-through line on the barcode. But since the barcode for this and pink version are identical, the shrink wrap was carefully opened to determine the vinyl color. Sleeve is still in shrink and (other than the strike-through) it is like new. The vinyl is also like new since it has never been played. See photos above.
