Records ‎– WS 1590 Stereo Vinyl Grade:  Excellent (EX) * play graded *"Downtown" track plays Near Mint/Mint! very clean, glossy vinyl with a few faint marks; while most of album plays Excellent/Near Mint, a few revolutions of soft ticks were heard on "Now That You're Gone", the only sound disturbance on album Cover Grade: Excellent (EX) *very nice jacket with extremely limited shelf and storage wear Notes: The number-one chart placement of "Downtown" in late 1964 created a problem with Pye Records in England and Warner Bros. in America, both record labels to which Petula Clark was signed. Faced with a number-one hit on either side of the Atlantic,  they both needed an album to take advantage of the mega-hit, and the result was the Downtown LP.
