Full-length compilation LP titled "Bosporus Bridges: A Wide Selection Of Turkish Jazz And Funk 1968-1978" reissued by The World Is My Oyster Records (0001) 2014. Portuguese reissue of this killer collection of Turkish rarities originally released in 2005. Western psychedelia, funk and jazz collides with the ethnic amalgam of Turkish musical styles recorded by mostly unknown musical acts and taken from one off singles released in the late-60's to late-70's. The original 45's are virtually impossible to find but this compilation gives listeners a chance to hear these rare gems. A bit of a warning - this reissue has inferior sound quality compared to the original pressing but still too cool to miss out on. This copy was played one time.
