Full-length compilation LP from Russell Morris titled "Retrospective 1968-1972" released by EMI (EMC-2672) in 1978. Original Australian pressing. Collection of 15 tracks from Australian pop singer-songwriter who had an unexpected hit in 1968 with the epic psychedelic pop/rock song "The Real Thing" running here in its continuous entirety at 6:20. It was released in the U.S. as a single split between both sides of the 45 on Dove Records. Included on this comp is the follow-up epic psychedelic workout "Part Three Into Paper Walls" running at 7:20. The remaining tracks are a batch of good pop tunes that feature Russell Morris' excellent singing voice with the album finishing off with the superb pop song "The Wings Of An Eagle" which was a top 10 hit in Australia in 1972. Included is the proper inner sleeve with photos and a bio.

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in NEAR MINT condition with new-like luster and free of visual blemishes. Plays with some slight, sporadic surface tics...sounds great! Cover is in VERY GOOD++ condition with some wear at corners, some creasing at corners, slight edgewear and other light surface wear. Custom printed inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition with light creasing at corners.
