This year saw Paul Field, singer for The Cockroaches and The Field Brothers, release his debut solo album “Love Songs for Lonely People”!  It features some of his all time favourite love songs and duets with Aussie rock icon Jimmy Barnes (You Ain’t Going’ Nowhere),  ARIA Hall of Fame singer/songwriter Kasey Chambers (Valentine’s Day), Chris E Thomas (Gasoline and Matches), Ria Pirelli and Elly-May Barnes. Recorded at Jimmy Barnes Studio with an all star band, Paul and his brother John produced the album and co-wrote two new songs for it, “This Way to Love and Happiness” and “Alison ( You’re The One). 

“Some of these songs I’ve been singing since I was a teenager. The common element with all of these songs is that I love them and it was always my desire to record them one day” says Paul.
