Joy Division, Still

1981 UK Factory Records 2 x LP set, FACT 40.

Early version with thick matt grey sleeve and white embossed lettering. Inner sleeves are of similar heavy duty build and load to the inner of the gatefold, with the gatefold inners having rounded corners at top centre area. TOWN HOUSE to run-offs/dead wax.

Vinyl glossy but with some visible scuffs and gentle scratches. No deep marks or digs.

There are seven mid-level ticks right at the beginning of A1. Some consecutive mid-level ticks to the separator band between "Isolation" and "Decades" which stray just a touch into "Decades". Else minimal and unobtrusive background noise and the bulk of the set plays very cleanly.

Labels mostly clean, some very light and minor smudging.

Inner sleeves structurally EX, no splits, a couple of minor stains and one slightly more longish dark mark around the impression of one of the discs.

External sleeve really not too bad, this sleeve is generally not a brilliant survivor. This one is at least VG plus with light wear but none of the more usual heavy usage. A tiny nick to top centre. A few very small and unobtrusive marks. Small blue splash stain to front at "N" in band's name. A tiny single pen line to rear. A few minor hairline impressions. Spine has held up well enough with lettering still perfectly legible and just light wear to head and tail. The other edges have held up well with no fraying or splitting.
