Pink Floyd, Obscured By Clouds
Original 1972 USA Harvest Records stereo LP, SHSP 4020. Pressed by Sonic, this release is unusual in that unlike most USA issues it shares the same catalogue number as the UK release. It is also housed in a UK manufactured sleeve, earliest variant with matt textured surfaces and rounded corners.
Vinyl graded G plus. This for the worst of it. Visually looks better than this, glossy surfaces but with some scuff marks. No obviously deep marks or scratches. Mostly during quieter moments there is some soft to mid-level crackle and scuffiness which can be just loud enough to be a distraction. However, much of the LP plays very cleaner, especially the louder tracks. Worst affected track is the chant style song which ends the LP.
Plain inner is not original (Decca), although this LP would not have been issued with a picture/lyric inner.
External sleeve a strong VG. Clean and unmarked, no stickers, loss, inscriptions etc. Some light peripheral creasing and edge scuffing. No seam splits and spine not too heavily rubbed with text still visible if a little rubbed.
